Let's say I'm living in a country and I'm working towards naturalization, meaning that I have to be within its borders for 183 days out of the year.
How does the government confirm this?
The essentially non-existent border control within the Schengen zone gives me the impression that this wouldn't really be possible; is it just that much more lenient within the EU?
Of course if it were truly necessary it could be tracked, but it seems rather easy to cover up and thus makes me wonder how hard it's looked into.
