Hello /r/Europe! I want to make a surprise for my girlfriend for Christmas and I need your help!
Post Body

Hi. I'm Cristi, 24 years old, and I'm from Romania, Eastern Europe. My girlfriend's name is Monica(22 years old), she's also from Romania and she told me many times how much she love the other countries, how much she love other cities and shared her passion to travel with me.

Well, the thing is that Christmas is coming and what other great present can I give her than bringing her postcards from all over the world?

She's a wonderfull person and I'm happy to have her in my life. I can just say that she coloured my life from all points of view! Just an example of how much she loves other countries and travelling, plenty of times when we are together, we just search the internet for trip movies other people make when visiting a city/farm/nature or in vacantion and we sit there in the sofa, hugging and watching what awesome experiences are waiting for us! That's how much she loves nature, cities, winter, and travelling. And to be honest, I'm starting to love it too!

And to make things more awesome, for each postcard I'm going to receive, I'm going to buy sweets and fruits for homeless children from a children's shelter in my town. I know there are at least 30 kids there and they are little as age(less than 12,13 years old) and they will enjoy it so much. I'm sorry that I can't buy them gifts or something more expensive, but I don't have enough money to buy them all presents.

Last year I went there to visit a child and I bringed him some fruits, and after I entered, all the kids just surrounded me thinking the fruits were for them. Those big eyes they had made me give them all I had, and they were so happy for it, even though it wasn't much, but it made their day. To be honest, it almost made my cry. But they felt loved, even though we didn't know each other. I stayed with them, watched a little TV and went home. It was an awesome day! So this is the second reason I want to do this. I did it before, and it felt amazing!

Now, if you guys want to help me surprise my girlfriend, I will make plenty of pictures with the cards, her reaction and proof of the charitable work I'm gonna do after. Picture with the kids, a reddit ettiquete with the date on, etc. I'm gonna figure it out when the day comes.

I would love if the cards will have a little message from you guys, like a Christmas cheering with her name on it, to Monica. It would be awesome for the message to be in your own language with a translation in English.

I know that it can't cost more than like 1-2 Euros per postcard so I'm going to try and invest the same amount you guys spent to buy those postcards to buy something for the children and make their Christmas also happy!

If you are interested, please make a comment below showing your interest to do this or message me and I'm gonna send you the adress and more info through a PM.

Thank you in anticipation.

Edit 1: Wow, Didn't thought I'll get so many replies! I want to thank all of you guys for the support and if I can return the favour in any way, don't be shy and just ask! I can send you a postcard from my current city where I'm studying (Bucharest) or from the Danube Delta, where my hometown is. I'm so excited about all of this!

Edit 2: I will keep you guys updated with what's happening and at the end I'll make an album with all the postcards received, then with the gift, and finally us at with the children we're going to help. Hope everything goes right :D

Edit 3: Today, 02/12/2014, Tuesday, I received the first postcard from Toulouse, France. I've already sent a couple of postcards back at the people who asked for one in return! I've managed to reply to every single one of you guys and if I can do something in return just ask, it will be my pleasure to help with whatever I can! I will start uploading photos of them before Christmas, so I can receive most of them before then. Love you guys!

Edit 4: I've made a new post where I delivered what I promise. I've went shopping and then donated that to a children's home where there live 21 little kids that don't even know their parents. I'm glad I could make them happy, especially in this time of the year. Thank you guys for all the postcards I've received! I will update the new post with an album with all the postcards I've received soon!! Link here
