Hi all, hope everyone is having a good afternoon. Let me tell you a bit about myself and what I'm looking for.

I'm a 25M, working as a contractor in the broadcast and media industry, which has me travelling internationally across Europe quite a bit. This makes it a bit hard to establish any friendships or romances in-person, so most of my friendships tend to be online, hence why I am posting here.

In my free time, I guess I'm quite similar to the average redditor in a certain way: I work on some side projects I do to keep me busy, as well as playing some video games (a bit of everything, mostly single player or coop, but a friend recently got me into FFXIV), some TV, a bit of anime, elaborate scheming towards galactic conquest, etc.

So on to the reason I am posting. It takes me quite a long time to establish strong romantic romantic feelings towards anyone, and this apparently has been a problem for people in the past. Most of my relationships fail because I feel the other person tries to go too fast. I prefer to establish a solid friendship before taking it that far, although the occasional flirting etc. is fine.

That is not to say that I'm distant or anything, but I also value my solitude and like to build things up slowly :) Therefore I'm looking for someone who is the same, who doesn't want to rush right in to anything but first make sure we are compatible, have similar goals and aspirations etc.

Simply for time zones and eventually meeting, I would prefer someone living in Europe, but a bit further is fine as long as it wouldn't completely mess up our sleep schedules (so for example east coast US is fine, but maybe not Australia unless you are literally nocturnal lol).
