im predicting that the viewership will go down for a couple of reasons -
the show takes too long to film and produce (2 years per season, 6yrs for three seasons, really?). i understand that covid slows things down and some of the main actresses are booked for other media but still, so much time in between seasons is how you kill your fan base. SPOILER ABT S2 E8: more than likely they got rid of Ash because he will be way too mature looking to match the storyline of the next season.
Sam Levinson is a poor writer and will not open up his creative process to let other writers help him build the shows universe. Euphoria is a huge project and I don't think one person should be calling all the shots, it really wouldn't hurt to have a full team of writers. his stubbornness will continue to ruin everything
Sam is unprofessional and cuts entire scenes and storylines due to personal disagreements with actors who work for him. this deeply effects the overall presentation of the show.
fan burnout. with the three reasons above combined, fans have begin experiencing burnout from the show. many have expressed how unsatisfied they are with where its headed. it's unlikely that the show will maintain its current level of high praise
