I am a millennial and totally fascinated with the fashion on the show. I am curious how close it is to reality though and would love to hear everyone else’s thoughts.

I’m not like 100% out of touch haha but most of the looks seem more suitable for Instagram than real life? #1 most of it shows more skin than I remember from my high school time, and #2 it reminds me of 2000sy bratz doll fashion (in a good way).

This was inspired because I saw some pants that looked like Maddy’s purple strappy flares online and then came to the realization this is a whole trendy style of pants that I didn’t know was a thing.

And also is the makeup realistic (all the glitter, bright neon colors, unique lines and shapes, gemstones)
