Post Body

Hello,

I am a PhD student from Portugal and I am doing a short stay of 6 to 7 months in the Netherlands. My "salary" is from my Portugal scholarship, thus I have no income from the Netherlands. However, when
I moved in I got registered and now have a BSN (tax number). During my stay, I have acquired stocks. In the broker page I have given my dutch residency and tax number.

Even tho I have no income in the netherlands, do I need to fill the dutch tax next year for this purchase? The stock has no dividends and I am not thinking in selling it until I am back in Portugal. How will it be if I only sell it in 1 to 2 years?

Hope anyone can help. tysm.
