My SO and I are currently looking for way to put a bit of money aside each month to save up on a part of our future mortgage, looking at a time horizon of about 3 to 5 years.
One thing that interested me was to save it through investing in a fund rather that simply putting the money aside to a low yield savings account. Is this actually viable and a good idea though?
Specifically, we are looking at the investing option at the IGN Bank, a fund like this one http://www.ingbank.cz/ing-podilove-fondy/nabidka-fondu/zakladni-nabidka-ing-podilovych-fondu-bez-poplatku/ing-aria-lion-dynamic/#zakladni-informace (Czech version)
