So I've been trying out the Great Horde and I can't figure out which of these is best. Qasim is a Sunni Horde and it might end up converting the Orthodox Russian provinces to Islam for me, and maybe convert the culture on its own as it shares the Mishar primary culture (can the AI do that?). However, as a Horde it will have very little to raze and I worry about the rebels long term. As well as having so little religious unity.
Ryazan on the other hand is an Orthodox nation in the same culture group as the provinces I want to feed it. This is great but it's never going to convert anything for me and it will only hold onto stuff. I'll have to deal with the culture and religion on my own. However its government type should be more stable.
Any advice?
