So Im getting the error others are getting after the Epic free week update happened, but mine does not want to get fixed. I am fully updated on steam and eu4, it occurs regardless if mods are being used. I try to launch the game from the launcher, and it says it is unable to launch. If I run eu4.exe, it gives me an error: vcruntime140_1.dll. I looked up a fix for this as seen here Europa Universalis 4 vcruntime140_1.dll Missing Error - | GameWatcher . I ran through all the steps to the T, and it still occurs. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game three times already. At this point Im thinking Ill just have to wait for the devs to fix this. Does anyone know a fix for this problem? My next step is two download the other two versions of C redistributals and see if that works, Ive been using x86. Thank you in advance.
