Hello.

I'm pretty new to the game and started a game as a one province minor in Japan which I have almost formed into Japan now (1513). I have bought the vanilla game without DLC's because I wanted to try it out first and the DLC's were fairly expensive. Because the renaissance and colonialism institutions have already started but aren't even close to me yet my tech penalty is already 63% so it costs a lot of monarch points to research a new tech. Is there anything I can do about that? Thanks in advance
