What is this D'Anjou dynasty?

I got an event as England which put a D'Anjou queen as my monarch. Through royal marriages, this spread to Brittany and Castile as well as my PU France. Apparently, I was set to be in a succession war against Portugal over Castile. Castile's king was old and had no heir. My queen died, my next king was Lancaster but died soon after, and after a regency council, I have another Lancaster king and my dynasty is now Lancaster again, therefore I can't claim the Castilian throne.
