Game resets refresh rate back to 60

Ok, so this is a new bug my game seems to have. I have a beefy computer that can run this game at 144 FPS easily. However, recently I've had a problem with it setting my cap to 60. I don't know why this could be happening, as my game runs on my 144hz monitor, as as it has for weeks. It used to work, but now regardless of how high I set it, it resets it to 60 when I restart. Even manually doing it in settings.dad didn't help. I'm really confused, and miss my uber fast map staring.
