I am an American and have always been interested in the EU and specifically the council. Now that I am finally studying abroad in Europe and that we will be visiting the EU very soon in Brussels and during class the topic of the Treaty of Lisbon came up. I have done some research but still haven't found much solid answers and it only really concerns about the seat of president which I already know about. Just want to know some more about how this treaty has affected the goals of the European Council both current and future.
