Words of Greek Origin in our Languages

Post Body

Sorry, if this is a stupid/repeat question, but here goes. I was looking at one of these language trees starting from Proto-Indo-European. Greek has its own little branch there, which seems not to be connected to anything else going forward.

Still, a lot of words in our e.g. Romance and Germanic languages are of Greek origin, if I look them up in an etymology tool.

So today I wondered why Greek is not more deeply interconnected in these language trees?

Thanks
