Hey guys,
I was accepted into the CSN - Computer Science for Networks (M1) at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (it looks like it will be taught at Télécom SudParis on the Evry campus) and the Master of Computer Science - DIGIT : International Program at Sorbonne University.
Currently I am struggling with how to make this difficult and important decision: which one should I choose and enroll in?
I know both schools are very good, which makes the final decision very difficult.
- I saw some negative opinions about IP Paris/TĂ©lĂ©com SudParis on SNS, mainly talking about them "not having many internship opportunities for Master students", "not being well known" or "coursesâ quality is not very goodâ. (I donât know if these views are true or not)
So my main questions are:
Are there any clear advantages between IP Paris and Sorbonne University? For example, in terms of reputation, internship opportunities offered, school experience, etc.
If I want to work directly in the industry instead of studying for a PhD in the future, which program will be more advantageous? Which school will have richer practical resources to provide students?
Which project is more favored by the IT industry? How well-known are the degrees in the job market outside? (i.e.EU)
If you are a recent student or graduate of Sorbonne University or IP Paris, could you share your thoughts about your program experience or school experience?
Thank you for reading such a long post, any advice would be very helpful to me!đ„°
