I finally got my application in, I was notified by email and my account was created. However, it has a zero balance. I don’t know if I missed a step or if my dad closed the account or transferred everything out of it. I’m a little sad and frustrated that I went through this whole process for an empty account. I wish etrade would have mentioned that the account was empty before I sent in all of my info and a death certificate.
