The ConcourseQ community is working on an experiment for using token curation to get better news, essays and information to people. We’ve been eating our own dogfood and it tastes rather delicious.

Here’s how it works:

Curators can nominate an item for the feed. If an item is upvoted enough, our bot “Mistake Not…” pushes it to 3 distribution channels (more coming): Layer2 Twitter, Layer2 Telegram and Layer2 subreddit.

Curators get token rewards for:

4 Tokens - Nominate an article which is upvoted to feed.

1 Token - Upvote an article which is upvoted to feed.

2 Tokens - Nominate a suggested article which is upvoted to feed.

Anyone can get token rewards for:

2 Tokens - Suggest article which is nominated and upvoted to feed.

We are still exploring ways to give the token values. One alternative: Approved press releases could be included in the feed in exchange for buying & burning tokens. We are also developing a governance model for curators to make all decisions regarding the future of the feed.
