When I heard that Ted Kaczynski had died, my first thought was neither "Oh no, how sad" nor "Oh good, he's finally gone". Instead, what came into my head was a way of making a crypto-based celebrity death betting system. A market would be opened on a given celebrity, and at the start of each day a single token is auctioned. The money from the sale goes into a central pot; this increases each day with each sale. When the celebrity finally kicks the bucket, the pot goes to whoever bought the token for that day. Totally callous, totally disrespectful, and totally profitable to whoever would implement it and shave a little off the top of each payout.
This isn't the only degen idea I've had, but it's one of the worst. And it make me curious, do you other ethtraders have similar experiences?
