I’m in a position that I can wear whatever I want now. Problem is, I’ve always been constrained by size and dress code that “Good enough for work” was the main concern, and when my work had a uniform it was “good enough for weekend wear.” Much of those t-shirts just made their way to the rag bin.
So I’m wondering how you all came about your style? Was it always there and you just adapted it to ethical brands? Or did you decide to be ethical and pick from what was available way back? Did you have a set of priorities that guided your options? Or do you have the ability to just buy whatever you like and make it work?
Also would love brand recs. My priorities comfort/plus size tied for first, tbh. Then ethical, easy maintenance, durable (gardening and walking with the thigh rub, not like rock climbing or carpentry), then looks cool bc I know what I think looks cool on others but no clue what I feel cool in.
How’d y’all find what you feel cool in without breaking the bank and having a ginormous wardrobe?
