Hi,
I have fundamental problem with DApps. Maybe I don't know or understand something so I will be glad for any advise.
Looking on DApps purely from decentralization point of view, its quite clear and fine, but from all other aspects its inefficient and very weak. Why should the code be executed on all nodes? In fact more nodes you have on the network the less efficient and sensible it will be. IMHO: You just need to have that code executed on random X independent machines to compare results (as you don't have trust in nodes) and thats it.
Why should be needed to waste such enormous amount of resources and time to execute code? Not even speaking about storage of data.
I know it works well for very, very simple applications/contracts (if, then, done) like roll-a-dice, fair coin, ICOs, etc., but for anything else? I have found on many places this statement: "DApps have practically limitless applications" and I think its far from truth.
Am I missing something guys?
Thanks a lot for feedback in advance
