Etd AND Tonsillitis?
Post Body

So my tonsils have been red and swollen for over a mouth, somewhat like a perpetual, constant sore throat. My ears also hurt but it’s just one ear and one side of my jaw that has been hurting for years since an injury to that side of my face. The most painful area of my throat and tonsils are on that side of my face as well, I’ve had sore throats in the past before the accident but this is next level.

There is no accute sign of bacteria and buildup on my tonsils, they’re very clean but extremely painful. I did something stupid and desire to squeeze on the painful side to get rid of stones (checking for them) but instantly ripped a patch of skin off the tonsil as if it was lose, this was with my bare fingertip. It feels as if I’m a hole is being burnt through the side of my neck/throat while my ear is shut and I can barely hear anything and at the same time my jaw is numb on that side.

I also have an extreme amount of mucus I swallow everyday.

Do you think the jaw displacement is causing the infection? Or is it a separate issue that just seems to accentuate the jaw pain? My stomach aches like, fever, bad breath ( of course), head aches. I just feel like after years a jaw misalignment or dislocation can’t be causing all of this at once, clearly there is some bacteria at play here. I have a bacterial cleansing mouthwash from Colgate that I want to use called chlorohexidine. Guess I’ll invest in more white strips
