A Stupid question about surface area and effectiveness
Post Body

First of let's establish common ground. I use my estrogel (probaply) like everyone else, applying it on a patch of skin, with a high absorption rate compared to other areas. Now from time to time I ask myself if it is the right way, to apply the gel or are there more effective ways, it seems silly to a few but this question drives me nuts. When i was relatively new to the sub and knew little, dear u/darthemofan mentioned to me that it is favorable to apply gel to the same place multiple times a day, to keep the concentration of estrogen on the skin high. So the estrogen is absorbt by the skin from the high point of concentration on the skin to the low of the body. This makes sense to me so far. Now we encounter a problem, at a certain point in time the skin patch becomes saturated and doesn't absorb anymore estrogen, so we have a few options. First one would be to increase the area, secound one, simply change location after a good amount of eyeballing the previous spot and deciding on a new one.

Now I ain't 70% genitalia wich complicates this process. So I choose the secound best spot absorption wise, the armpit. So I apply about 6mg daily, about 3mg in the morning about 9 a.m. and 3 mg in the evening about 6 p.m.. I don't really know when the point of saturation on a spot is reached, so is it more effective wise to put some gel on the armpit and the genitals, or only genitalia since the absorption rate is higher there?
