Can you use a tens unit on your balls or is it not recommended?

I’m just curious how to make my estim sessions more enjoyable. I like to get high when I do them and I haven’t been able to achieve an hfo with it yet. I found some porn where a guy had some pads on his balls and it looked intense but also quite enjoyable. I’m just curious if it’s safe to do so or not, I’d like to try it if it is.
