How can I "mute" the smell of pine + eucalyptus essential oil diffusion?

Hello! I put a reed stick diffuser in my bathroom with the goal of making the bathroom smell kind of like a sauna. To me a sauna smells like the wood from a sauna and the eucalyptus oils released from the steam.

I knew this was going to be an intense scent immediately when I put these two together so I put only 5 diffuser reeds in as opposed to my usual 9-11. Still it is much too intense! The smell gets much past the bathroom and inside of the bathroom it almost is an astringent smell like mint. Is there anything I can put in to maybe just "tame" the flavor a bit?
