Question about 360° videos.

Some 360 videos don't get "tagged" as 360° videos, as far as I can tell. Watching them in the stock app it knows they're 360°, but when uploaded to YouTube they are displayed "flat".
Of the few that I've uploaded, one of them worked correctly, so I think there's some bug somewhere with the other videos that I've tried.
Does anybody know how this works? Is there a tag that I can edit to get YouTube to recognize that they're 360°?
