Sorry for the ridiculous newbie question but I just bought a used espresso machine (my first) that has a direct feed water connection (no tank). The manual says the feed should be between 0 and 6 bars. What are the recommended options? Water quality aside... is the best choice to use an icemaker type feed off a water line in my house an 'rig' some pressure reducer (I'm a better than average plumber)? I can also 'rig' an external tank. Any thoughts??
As far as water quality, my town water is pretty good, but I can also get a RO filter for $130. I've read that with RO, I should then add a mineralizer to give the water some life. Any thoughts?
Thank for the help
