My grinder is a Rancilio Rocky that I've had for awhile. I upgraded from a Saeco Sirena to a Crossland CC1 maybe 5 years ago or so. It's having steaming issues. I've left it at a repair place to be diagnosed, but I'm not sure it will be worth the price to fix it. I make a lot of lattes, so the steaming is important to me.

I'm trying to keep the price around or under $1500. I've been making espresso for awhile, but I'd probably still say I'm a beginner, especially with a fancier machine. I've heard the Silvia can be temperamental and inconsistent, so that makes me a bit hesitant.

Any thoughts on these options (or other suggestions) welcome. Thanks!
