I recently bought a commercial espresso machine. It's an Astra Mega II. I paid $150. It works but it's dingy and looks like it's been retired for years. I am about to take it apart and restore it. My question is, will it produce an acceptable cup of espresso? I have an electropolishing company set up to process all the stainless parts for $250 in my home state of Georgia. A coupe other companies quoted double to 8x the price so of course I'm sticking with the semi local company. My plan it to replace all the gaskets and any part that needs replaced.
