Post Body

I changed some parts on my Profitec Pro 300. The switch for brewing is changed by one with three positions and is controlling another 3 way solanoid valve. The solanoid is bypassing the brewing pressure thru a changeable pressure reducer and in that way its possible to do a preinfusion with 1-6bar. On top of the Pro300 is a switch for the second pump. The second pump is running parallel to the first and the ramp up in brewing pressure is way faster. Is possible to use both or only one pump. The machine is still filling the boiler for steam with one pump only. In the case is another pressure gauge for the brewing pressure and some lamps to see if both pump or only one pump is pumping. The water for the espresso is flowing thru a prewarmer around the steam boiler. The steam can be turned on like normal with the valve on front and via a 2 way solanoid valve in the machine. The valve is can be switched on with a pressure switch and a foot pedal. This is inspired by the Kees van der Westen machines and in this way its possible to use both hands for steaming. There is a Shelly plus one in the Pro300 to turn it on with Homeassistant, Alexa etc. and in front is a toggle switch to control it. The most of the case is made of acrylic and 3d printed parts. I gues it was around 250€ for all parts. Sry for my bad english 😅
