Hello friends. I'm somewhat new to the espresso world. I've been making espresso for about a year and a half to 2 years now and I've finally started to really get into it. I have been buying beans from onyx coffee labs, which have specific "requirements" for brewing specific shots.
I'm looking for a machine in the $1,200 USD range or lower. I make mostly milk drinks for my wife, and a shot or 2 for myself. (She drinks 1 a day with a double-triple shot). I currently have the DF64 Gen2 with SSP Red Speed Cast Lab Sweet burrs. The lightest we dose is a medium roast, with most being dark/expressive dark. Most of the shots are stated to be configured as followed (with varying time in the shot, of course): Brew Temp: 198°F, Line Pressure: ~3.5 bars, Max Pressure: 9 bars
Pressure Profile: 0 sec to 4 sec - line pressure, from 4 sec till done - 9 bars.
Would there be a machine that would be able to accomplish this within our price range?
We're located in the United States. Pull, in total, about 5-6 shots a day (2 for me, and 3-4 for her cappuccino/latte/breve).
