I know it's been used in the mainstream as yet another vessel for carrying sugar (and money into Starbucks's coffers), but I've been really interested in cold foams lately. They're a great way of making coffee more interesting, even when you skip all the sugar.
My question is this....what's the best way to foam the milk? I have one of the hand wands, but it just doesn't work well. I know Vitamix had a portable foamer, but I haven't been able to find it for sale. I'd love some help trying to find something a little better!
Edited to add: I only need something to foam cold milk. I'd rather not deal with something that heats it too. I have a steam wand for hot milk. I'm just hoping to find something a little closer to the Starbucks cold foam texture.
