Hey.
So I knew it wasn't a great idea, but I was curious...so I made an infinite loop which used a delay...yeah...tmr.delay() and its hogging of the cpu.
So then I got stuck seeing my debug print (sending...) and wasn't able to communicate with the board to file.remove("init.lua").
So I figured I'd flash the board.
That worked!
Except it didn't...when I rebooted the board, it went right back to the loop. So after trying this 2 more times, I decided to flash the bin onto it twice in an effort to overwrite the code. I used the flasher tool to flash the newest nodemcu version onto the board twice at 0x00000 and 0x40000. That caused it to pump out all kinds of garbage. I then reflashed just at 0x00000 hoping that could do something. And it did...it made it go back to my infinite loop.
Have I bricked this thing?
Thanks for any help!! PS I have a nodemcu board..."LoLin"
