I want to display data on an oled and phone when I want

So I have this project I want to make distance meter and I planned to make it with an avr but my professor made a last minute change and he wantted the data to be displayed on phone so I switched to esp so how to make it I will use an ultrasonic sensor and oled and I want to display it on phone when I want and don't say arduino because I will have to weld it into pcb and package it latter
