I've never even caught an Esox of any kind, and I'm hooked anyway. Went below the Spillway (toward the bridge) at Shelbyville Dam, Shelbyville, IL. I was ripping a double-willow bladed chartreuse spinnerbait and had a musky slap the lure so hard that it launched out of the water. I did have a trailer hook on, but didn't help.
HOLY. CRAP. If catching muskies is like that, count me in, even if it does take 1,000 casts.
