This was my 12th music festival. I have never ever been to something as evil as escape. This was my second festival at the NOS, but my first escape. People have always warned me about how many non ravers go to this event and how the stealing is over THE TOP. I never get too fucked up to where I’m unaware of my surroundings, 11 music festivals and i’ve never had an issue until yesterday.

During Matroda b2b San Pacho a grown ass man groped me and continued to make his way into the crowd and disappear, I thought it was my homegirl who was behind me until I turned around and saw her face. By the time I processed what just happened he was already gone.

ABOUT ONE HOUR LATER I got my phone stolen during Rezz. I had recorded a song and zipped it back into my fuckin 5 zipper fanny pack. I had to have been being watched closely because I went to record another song 10 minutes later and it was fucking gone.

I go to festivals because they’re my happy place, the one place I can feel free and truly let go. Then I get completely violated & stolen from, I will never ever return to escape again. Just such a horrible experience
