At the start of her day, every day, Rachel slunk out of bed and stumbled through her apartment. In the kitchen she reached up in a pair of panties and nothing more to turn on the small corner television. It was a cheap make, two-dimensional and not even voice activated, but she and her wife lived modestly. Her wife, Hannah worked a late shift and Rachel an early one; it was far from ideal, but it was what was necessary for them to make enough to get by in the harsh economic state of the world lately.

As such, Rachel was a morning person by force rather than desire; it made her feel impatient, but also productive. She started a quick breakfast while talk show hosts droned on in the background, and at one point she hurried to throw on a light shirt to answer the door. Outside was their deliveryman, a word whose origins had lost half of its original meaning. She too was a woman, older, kind and eager to chat. Her wife had just retired, she explained, and they were preparing a vacation to Old Europe for the coming holiday: Genesis Day; which marked the end of the Last War, almost a hundred years past.

Eventually though, Rachel was reminded of her breakfast and had to cut conversation. The deliveryman smiled and gave her a friendly goodbye. “Oh, but be careful today,” she warned, “there was some accident last night. Lots of emergency crews are out, bad traffic... check the news,” she explained in a hurried fashion with neighborly concern.

With a groan, Rachel thanked her, and then returned inside. To her sleeping and gloomy wife she gave a warning about being late that evening, then returned to the kitchen where she flipped the TV to a serious news station. The scroll across the bottom read: “President apologizes for D.O.D. Training accident, pledges 10 million of her own money to cleanup.”

“And what should we all be doing in the meantime?” asked a young blonde woman at the news table in a light blue blouse. She was speaking to an older, more wise looking woman with gray hair and a dark suit, clearly meant to contrast with her co-host and provide a sense of authority.

“What everyone needs to remember is that this was simply a failure of order. The training exercise last night was meant to make sure our fine women of the armed forces were prepared to take on every threat, and now that they've realized their weakness we need to right the wrong, so to speak. What this means is maintaining a stricter order of operations, and this extends to everyone even the lay person. If, in the coming days, military personnel issue an evacuation or a lock down order in your neighborhood, do everything in your power to comply. Prepare to wake up earlier in the morning to accommodate these orders as well as there are likely to be rolling lock downs on many roads and regions you may commute to or through, as well as potential curfews. Make sure your little girls especially know to abide by these rules.”

The blonde host nodded in a wonderfully scripted fashion with a look of genuine concern mingled with relief to have such a strong woman there to guide them. It almost seemed as if there was an instinctual desire to listen to the authoritative woman's deeper voice, or was that the desired effect meant to be blindly adopted by the listening populace? “And you said this was a biological hazard that leaked?” she asked, continuing through their script.

“Yes,” the older woman said, “the details must be retained for national security, but what everyone needs to know is that nothing is airborne, and the water is safe but contact with suspicious persons must be reported immediately. If you see or hear figures moving through your property, simply lock down your home, call the emergency hot line number provided and wait for further instruction.”

Rachel groaned. It wasn't just going to be a daily hazard then, and likely Hannah would have her night shift work corrupted even more. For the time being though, a quick check of her tablet told Rachel that work was still on and that she needed to go in despite the apparent hazard. Unhappily, she threw on her clothes, said goodbye to her wife and started down to her car. Her watch prepared the vehicle for her on the way down, sending signals of her arrival. The engine was started, and it even pulled up to the front walkway where Rachel met it and climbed in. “No no,” she mumbled as she checked the dash and saw that her route was going to go right through a lock down zone.

Apparently the lock down wasn't complete in the regions it was enforced. A strong military presence met her after a long backup and explained that they were allowing vehicles through the lock downs, to minimize the disruption to daily life. The only catch was that traffic would be worse, as everyone had to go through an outpost that forced a particular route onto their vehicle's navigator that would guide them through a long slow procession guarded at nearly every turn.

Along the way Rachel called one of her co-workers, Amanda. Amanda was ahead of her a ways, still not out of the relatively small lock down zone despite arriving far earlier. It was a testament to the rather awful flow of traffic once inside, and she suggested Rachel simply try to go around rather than through. “Too late,” Rachel responded, already having had her car commandeered. She was stuck, and likely going to be late unless...

Rachel was in fact in the car business. She was rather low on the totem pole, but her job involved QA on the navigation software, which was initial written by a machine itself but which often needed minor corrections made that was the work of low skill labor like herself; how far had society become that computer science was now low skilled labor? Rachel lamented that fact as she tapped an admin command into her console and pulled up the command window. The navigation orders from the military were simple. It was literally a simple string of directions, turn left here, right there... one after another. Nearby, Rachel found her tablet which she used to bring up a map of the lock down zone. Already there was an overlay available that showed the ordered route; shame she hadn't been able to see that before she left. But now she was able to see at least one turn that was made closest to the eastern edge of the region; why not just turn off the road there and get out?

After a quick conference with Amanda, Rachel confirmed the nearest point to her selected exit that had a blind spot to the task force surrounding the entire route. She was a bit hesitant to break the rules, especially seeing the heavy armament most of the military transports boasted, but she really didn't want to be late. Her bitch of a boss might dock her pay, which they really couldn't afford, especially if work for Hannah was interrupted by curfews...

With a spurt of steadfast resolution, love for her wife guiding it, Rachel tapped in the new instructions to her car then prepared to close up the command window. Though she quickly did a log wipe to make sure that the admin access wasn't recorded first; if she did get in trouble, she could simply argue there was a glitch. From her job she knew those happened, and she turned up the opacity of her windows so as to have plausible deniability that she didn't see her car going off the planned route with all the other women sandwiched in around her. Then, she sat and waited, more nervous than she'd been even when her first girlfriend took her virginity in the back of her mom's car.

Five minutes later, nearly out of the lock down zone, there was a thump and not a small one. Rachel squeaked and gripped her seat. Thankfully she'd been sitting facing the back, and the sudden stop of her vehicle simply shoved her down into her seat rather than throwing her from it.

Almost sure she'd been found out, she began to fumble to the car console to give it the command that would return her windows to transparency. “I'm sorry!” she shouted worriedly. Just as she was about to get the windows cleared, she was jerked again. This time, she was pulled to the side in a sharp, short thrust that made her have to prop her hand against the door, which had creaked at the same time as if pulled on.

“I'm-” Rachel began, but was interrupted.

“Open it.”

Rachel stopped dead in her tracks. That voice wasn't right. The car jerked another time, and this time she confirmed that the door was creaking; someone or something was pulling on it. “Open it!” came a more fierce command, one that frightened her her and seemed to rumble straight down her abdomen. It wasn't human, there was simply no way. The voice had rumbled, boomed with depth that reminded her of a time her professor in college had brought in some sort of a gas that changed her voice. Helium had made her speak like a chipmunk cause it was lighter than air, and the heavier gas made her speak like... well, the thing outside.

Still frozen for a few minutes more, Rachel looked at the lock on her door. She checked her watch and wondered about the emergency hot line she'd heard about that morning. She looked at the number, looked at her door, and then cursed. It'd been a biological hazard, she remembered. Surely that meant that if the military was cleaning it up, they had suits. She'd seen a documentary about those once, suits meant to provide women with strength, safety in harsh climates, and more. If that was the case, then it made sense that the voice she'd heard wasn't human; it was coming from the machine, no doubt.

Common sense told Rachel she shouldn't open the door during a biological threat, but authority was telling her the opposite and she was more bound to that than her baser instincts. The women in charge knew better than her, she reminded herself. They'd planned a route she'd so blithely ignored, and when they caught her they'd manually forced her car to a halt and were going to take her in for quarantine or questioning; she ought to accept her fate, and so she did; she unlocked the door.

I hope you enjoyed that! I'm sorry it's long, but I felt a little inspired and this is the first time I thought I'd post to erotic penpals rather than dirtypenpals, so I figured why not start with something big? Also I hope that my between my writing and my title you were able to figure out the theme of this prompt: some great war once wiped out all the men. Maybe the women of the future know about their past, maybe they don't. Regardless, a real flesh and blood man has gotten loose from a military mistake and he's on the run!

Where does this go from here? Well, I wrote this from the perspective of some women. Rachel doesn't necessarily have to be your character. You can write some other woman who just ends up in the same situation that is totally your own. Or we can just use this as an explanation of how this guy got away enough to run into your actual character.

And as for the man himself, I hinted that he might be a little more than a regular guy. I was considering a super soldier type deal, some huge hulk of a man (with big "assets"?), but if that's not your thing we can go more realistic. Let me know the things you like and we can craft out this guy together, or you can just let my imagination run wild. I'm also up for you playing maybe a woman soldier, a woman of authority that captures this guy.

And on that note I should say that I'm a switch. I'm not big on hardcore BDSM or stuff like that, but I'm happy to play an authoritative brute of a man all but defiling the women he comes across, or maybe something more like a big powerful dog tenuously able to follow orders when met with sufficient authority... or temptations. I'm always happy to be flexible! As for specific kinks that I enjoy: I love giving oral, raw primal-like sex with sweat and spit, and... outdoor elements. Impregnation can be fun, as can age differences.

I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting to mention, but I feel as if I've already written enough. I really hope the length hasn't scared anyone off, so absolutely don't feel bad about messaging me a short response just telling me what this got you thinking about. And don't worry about seeing this post late or anything like that either. I'm always happy to receive messages! :) And, at the very least, if you made it this far: thanks for reading!
