For 5,000 Years, the Elves have stood as the bulwark against the mass invasion of the Orcs and Goblinoids through to the South. Bordered on the North by the Rondak Mountains, it seems that every five years or so the Orcs come down from the mountains and launch an assault. For a few months or so, while their numbers are still large, they make gains until the Rangers assassinate their warlord. Then itās just a matter of time before theyāre pushed back to the Rondakās.
However, for the Island of Valinor, this is not the case.
The Island of Valinor stands as the gateway into the greater Elvish Kingdom, and as such houses a relatively large garrison for its actual population size. It may be houses a few hundred elves at most, but thereās just as many Rangers, ever ready for the possibility of Orcish invasion. Valinor sits just a few dozen miles up the coast from the Capital, rendering Valinor the key to a swift Elvish defeat, and Orcish victory. But they never come. They never sail around the larger Elven forces and seize the Isle, leaving the Rangers to stand idle.
That is, until recently.
After the last defeat, a strong, older warlord by the name of Urgaz Blackblood seized power in a most vicious of coups, and has started formulating strategies. Plans. And now one target is at the top of the list, a solid two years before the main invasion: the Island of Valinor. The Orcs plan to sail through the night, and seize the Island, before launching their main invasion.
Though, this story is useless without explaining why this is important.
Valinor is home to the largest temple of Maren, the Goddess of the Sun, in the entirety of the Kingdom. It is a place not only of strategic, but religious significance. Those elves who wish to style themselves, āWarriors of the Goddessā or āPriestesses of the Sunā must attend no small amount of formal training here. Per tradition, the women are the red-headed offspring of any and all elves within the borders of Eliria. Since the largest temple was here, this also made it the seat of power of Velayna, the High Priestess.
In matters of Court, the High Priestess is acknowledged to be the final authority on judgement of the guilty, as well as matters of purity and faith. The High Priestess is also the commander of the order of paladins that has grown up around the Temple and, just like all the other priestesses, has taken a vow of celibacy. All in all, she is one of the most politically and socially influential and powerful women in all of Eliria.
But even she is not omniscient.
The Orcs shall overpower her meagre forcesā¦and when they do, the Vows will be broken ā by force if necessary ā to show the Orcish resolve in this bitter blood feud. She will serve, and be broken, just like the other priestesses, and become a tool to dominate the elves.
This is where my character steps in. Iāll be playing as the High Priestess of the Sun Goddess (Pic to be provided in chat), and you asā¦well, whoever you like! Preferably, though, an Orc. Could you be the hero of the battle, claiming his rightful prize? Or the commander in service to Urgaz, taking a new slave? Or, even more daringly, are you Urgaz himself, come to claim the greatest prize aside from the Queen?
Here is my Kinklist, expect most of these to make an appearance.
