I keep writing the same thing, and I don't know if that's good or bad?

Post Body

I was going over scene idess yesterday, and I realized something. I appear to have some types. I've got a big thing, it seems, for women in positions of power. Who keep one or more men around, specifically for the purpose of fooling around.

Like, I have several characters in several stories that follow this trope, and I'm a bit surprised I never realized it before.

Is this bad? Does it mean I'm a hack? Because I feel like one lol.

All seriousness. Should I consider changing some stuff around so some of my more specific desires aren't so prevalent in very similar form? Or is it okay?

Further, what are some tropes, concepts or character archetypes that you can't seem to get rid of?
