When or why did you decide to publish your books for sale? (Advice)
Post Body

I have about 3 romance/erotica books I’ve completed. I have them up on Wattpad and they’re doing pretty good. They have Thousands of reads, a good amount of likes and comments.

My bf thinks I’m waiting my potential by not publishing my new books straight for sale.

The thing is, I don’t know if my books are good enough to be posted for sale. I also don’t know how my readers would feel if I removed them to punish them for sale.

I like posting on WP because I feel my books reach a wide audience, and I can edit my books at any time, but I don’t know if my boyfriend is right.

So, I want to know. What made you decide to publish your books, instead of keeping them up for free on sites like literotica, WP, etc?

And if you never had your books up for free, what was your process to get readers?
