Why is the sensation of sex translated to "fluffy"?

Something I've noticed both in hentai and hentai games is when a character is having sex they describe it as "It feels fluffy!". As a haver of sex (no, really!!) this struck me as pretty bizarre, so I sort of wrote it off as bad translation. But after seeing it so many times I can't help but think that maybe Japanese doesn't have a proper descriptor for "pleasing sensation" or "pleasing to touch" other than "fuwa fuwa" or other similar adjective-likes. Anybody have some knowledge on it?
