As a background, been dealing with ED for about 7-8 years. Viagra doesn’t work (I’ve tried up to 150mg), Cialis doesn’t work (I’ve tried up to 40mg before my PCP yelled at me). I’m currently on TRT which has helped my libido but not at all in the erectile dysfunction department. My first urologist appointment a couple months ago felt like a drive thru…he just slapped some trimix in my hand and sent me on my way. I didn’t want to just be handed shit, I wanted to seek some answers. Tried 10 and 20 units and it was alright, made me hard but my dick pointed downward, not up. And it got really uncomfortable after an hour or so. It’s just not feasible long term.
Fast forward to today, this urology appointment was amazing. Super knowledgeable was asking me questions. He was shocked that I was only 35 and I was already to the point of injections. We talked about how if I stand up, my erection will completely die…and if I try to engage in anything sexual, it’s like my dick just is a limp noodle. Unfortunately, we discovered my insurance will not cover the implant which I assumed. He is referring me to a cardiologist to rule out any sort of heart disease or anything due to the standing issue, Viagra not being effective, and Trimix being halfway useless.
I feel so fucking lost and exhausted. I wouldn’t even know how to address that if it was heart disease.
