Post Body

So I recently bought a Kindle Paperwhite 5 11th gen by paying 6500 pesos (I am from the Philippines). It has always been my goal to buy one but I always had other priorities.

But then when I got one, I realized that the experience of getting the books that I want by sending an epub was kind of a struggle. I want epubs for the reason that I don't have to pay for a book, I have a Scribd subscription (which makes me "borrow" a book), and for the main reason that I if I buy a book from the Amazon store, I really do not own it. Of course, I still have to use my money on other things that deem to be more important as of now.

Anyway, if I will buy a Kobo Libra 2, I would have to pay 12700 because I would avail the gadget protection/insurance too.

Do you think that I should just sell my Kindle ppw (probably by selling it at a price of 6200 as it has only been a week since I got it), sell my books which would probably make me around 2000-3000. I would get the rest of my money from my allowance.

Would that be worth it? Or should I stick with my Kindle for now?

Also, can I ask, based on your experience, esp for those who have used the Kobo Libra 2, was it worth it? How was it like? Do you love it?
