Just my opinion. But I enjoyed the force awakens so much. I think Disney could have made a good trilogy...

Exactly. He may have enjoyed the movie but it did not go along with what he envisioned for the trilogy so basically held a middle finger to it and retconned as much as he thought he could get away with. Which should have been almost nothing but he ended up retconning the whole movie.
