Hi all,
I hope everyone is healthy and fully stocked on TP. I've been sipping on some quarantinis and catching up on some Netflix, myself. I've also been thinking about you all, which brings us to our main points:
r/Epidemiology User Survey
Ten questions in length and it shouldn't take more than five minutes to complete! We are always open to accepting feedback, but we're especially asking for it now, so please take some time to fill it out if you are at all interested in this community's trajectory.
Other Announcements
Official Advice / Career Day is now Tuesdays
Effective this post going live, all "Advice / Career Questions" must be posted on Tuesdays, or they will be removed. After taking comment and watching things play out a bit longer, it has been decided that these posts are too ubiquitous for how little participation they drive within the community. Big life decisions can be scary and hearing from someone who's been there can be immensely helpful, we recognize this. However, these threads foster little discussion, and in many cases, they're made by "drive-by" users.
Do you have any good resources for users asking these kinds of questions? I would like to compile a FAQ/wiki page for people to have access to. Post them here or reach out via DM!
User Flair Adjustments
For no reason other than aesthetics, flair has been adjusted to use an asterisk (*) when denoting that an individual is a student. Previously, and MPH student would be flaired as "Undergraduate Degree | MPH Student | Epidemiology." This now appears as "MPH* | Epidemiology" for succinctness.
New Subreddit Look
