I saw a video about a facility designed to take in carbon to clean the air. It looks like it's so insufficient that the carbon produced from its construction would outweigh what this thing could do in 10 years. I was wondering if it would just be better to employ people to go out with shovels (not heavy digging equipment) and pay these people to mass plant trees wherever possible. In addition to that we could fund hemp farms for paper to reduce then need for cutting trees for it. I haven't really put much thought in it and I don't often think about environmental issues but this makes more sense in my head. It could be a government program that could help with the unemployment crisis and environmental crisis. I wanted some opinions from people who think about this stuff often.
