Mini Mouth Peace clean filter vs dirty

I have all 3 MooseLabs sizes but have been using the mini recently. I don't know exactly when to change them but after 2 J's I figured it would be time and good gracious at the difference y'all! Do you use a filter? When do you change yours out?
