Hi all the lovely ents in our forest! I just had to share how awesome the past clfew days have been. My niece flew from Denver to take me to a concert of fav bluegrass band. We had dinner together with my family at a yummy place then drove about 45 minutes to town where concert was. It was a blast and it was so fun to get to know her a little bit better. She is a VP of a fairly large corporation so she's a very busy lady. I feel very honored.

Also, my daughter's friend from when they were both young adults sent me two Christmas ornaments this year. I love them both but I thought all of you would love the cannabis one. It just belongs on my new, more secular tree. What makes this especially tender is that I did not allow weed in my home. My kids had to move out to partake. I just could not tolerate the smell of it in my house and I had neighbors with small children so I wasn't comfy with them doing it outside either. It's a super conservative neighborhood and it was illegal. Nice ornament huh? They are both very nice and will be loved on my tree for many years.

I better clarify the picture of the tree! It's a king story full of giant belly laughs with the fam but we got just a little too irreverent for me to leave it the way it was. I mean Kermit is supposed to be the Muppet who became a puppet master but it looks like he just has his hand up the angel'a robe! Ahh..a bit too far maybe. The original Kermit was pole dancing! Oh my! My parent would be so disappointed and I don't care because I made awesome memories with my own kid.

That's it for me. I feel like I got run over by a truck after working out at the gym today. It's been about three months since I last worked out hard. Ouch! I am headed to the hot tub then shower then laundry then making caramel to dip and give away as gifts.
