Munchies Help

Post Body

I had cancer 2 times in 3 years, thyroid and breast. I’m still in the process of getting in remission and I’m on some medications. One I have to be on for another year and a half and one that I will be on for the rest of my life. With a lack of a thyroid and the medications I gained over 30 pounds. I tried a lot of things to loose weight and nothing was working. I’m type 2 diabetic as well and my numbers were crazy. Because of all this my doctor put me on ozempic and I lost 40 lbs. I felt like myself again.

Both my spouse and I are smokers. At first, I stopped smoking for a while or occasionally doing on the weekends where my appetite would come back and I would eat a little junk. Recently I’ve gotten back to smoking every day, which means I’ve got the munchies everyday. I try to smoke before we eat dinner so my munchies are taken care of by dinner. My issue is my hyperfixation food has become Mike & Ike’s. About a month ago I was eating 4 boxes a night. Needless to say I’ve started to gain some weight back. The end of November I decided to cut back and I’m only eating 2 boxes a night. I don’t want to stop smoking, but I don’t want to gain all this weight back. I don’t know what I’m looking for or if I just needed to share, but I’ll take any suggestions.
