Helloooo ladies and theydies in the garden! I’m moving into my apartment this week with my partner. Long story short, leaving an abusive household on short-notice and WOEFULLY unprepared. I am looking for smell masking and maybe tips on having your own place?

I’m like mad broke right now (believe me when I say I’m an expert budgeter), and I don’t know shit about furniture and designing a space. First order of business: I need to turn my living room into a co-work space so my partner and I can do our jobs (he’s an artist landscaper, I’m an academic advisor I have a small fiber arts business) but it still needs to be cozy enough to watch movies on a projector screen (lol). Anyone have furniture suggestions? Real eclectic vibe going on.

Second, this is my first time living in a space that I can’t openly smoke in. I’ve done research already, but I wanted to see if the enties had any other suggestions. Please note that joints and bong are my preferred method of gardening but I partake in edibles, RSO, penjamins, and the like.

So far I’ve got:

  • Dry Herb Vaporizer (which I dislike, but if you can convince me otherwise and recommend one, I’m willing to give it another shot)
  • Air Purifier
  • Incense/Candles/Simmer Pot
  • Smoke Buddy

My place also has a patio, but I still want to be able to minimize the smell for my neighbors, so outdoor tips are VERY welcome.

Thanks in advance pretty tree people 🫶🏽🫶🏽
