Y’all, I am just now realizing how burned out I am now that I’m taking a few days off. For context I work in higher education and we’re nearing the end of the Spring semester. It’s been crazy busy and I am understaffed and overworked because imposter syndrome says I could always do better/more. Gave myself permission to have half an edible this afternoon and am finally starting to feel relaxed and slowly transitioning to vacation mode. I watch my 🍃 intake closely (partner says too closely tbh) and usually wouldn’t get this high during the week. I’ve been so stressed and wound up that I didn’t even really think of how to spend my little staycation, I just needed to make it here. 😓
What are some of your favorite things to do when you get a few extra days off?
